At Nexus Integrated Care (NIC), we provide pendency SEIT services to children across New York City. When a family and a school or district are working through a dispute, a child’s established services should not stop while the matter is resolved. Our role is to make sure they do not.
We bring together certified special education teachers, careful documentation, and steady communication with families, schools and districts so that a child keeps learning, and a family has one less thing to fight for.

Under pendency, the plan already exists. Our job is to deliver it faithfully, consistently, and on schedule.
Family partnership
Families are at the heart of everything we do. We work alongside parents and caregivers as trusted partners throughout the process.
Clear documentation
Careful records matter for the child’s progress, and for the process the family is navigating. We document thoroughly and share openly.
