- When to Reach Out
Student Circumstances That May Warrant a Service Inquiry
Schools and authorized education partners may contact Nexus when a student has documented special-education service needs and additional provider or service coordination may be appropriate. Examples may include:
- A need for Pendency SEIT or other educational support consistent with applicable documentation or orders
- An interruption, delay, or implementation issue involving authorized educational services
- A transition between preschool and school-age programming where continuity of services is a concern
- A student requiring individualized educational support that falls within Nexus Integrated Care's service capabilities
Nexus does not make legal eligibility determinations. Service coordination is based on the student’s documentation, applicable requirements, Nexus’s capabilities, and provider availability.
